Not universally! He produced Season Eighteen, which is my favourite season in all of Who, he produced McCoy's last two seasons, which are for the most part brilliant, and there are flashes of good stuff elsewhere. When he was bad, he was very, very bad but there's some stunningly good stuff during his run as well.

So not Kris Marshall then?

Yeah, basically this (though, please no more half-hour long shows which amounts someone pointing a finger and going "it's that person").

Would you ask Tom Petty that question?

I hope it does take six hours and the announcement is made at 11-30pm because I'm going out tomorrow night, but should be home around that time. Make it happen, ball-thwackers!

He needs the money!

I guess the Olympics themed one was enough to put them off the idea forever (hopefully).

And i have contradicted you in nearly every thread! It isn't! Mostly Who fans are awesome! It's just that the assholes shout loudest and get the most attention. I forget where it was but whoever it was that wrote "if a journalist goes to a Who convention and see 999 normally-dressed people, and one guy in a Leela

Agreed.

This isn't meant to be sarcastic, it's a genuine question but - why? I mean, Blackadder might be the most perfect sitcom there is, but what is it about Atkinson's other performances that suggest he has the nuance to play this character. Sure he can do the comedy stuff, and he can be a bit snooty at times, but I'm

Then they wouldn't have given us a gay black character as the companion. Honestly, I understand the BBC can be frustrating sometimes, but there's plenty of evidence that they are, in fact, prepared to take things a bit further. Prior to Capaldi's casting there were millions of comments about how the BBC would never

Also, before we knew who she was.

Despite Phoebe Waller-Bridge having ruled herself out on multiple occasions. Now, I know she could be saying that as deflection, but I doubt it somehow. She'd be great, but she said no.

I love the way he says "old-fashioned" when he and Missy are offering the Doctor a way to die, and strokes the Delgado/Ainley goatee as he does it - a fabulous touch.

Exactly.

Surely both TARDIS's are gone? Simm's Master leaves in his, shortly after which he regenerates in to Missy, and Heather and Bill get the Doctor back to his.

I can only hope you're right. But if Gomez is truely gone then she was, if nothing else, a gift to show and a way to demonstrate what you can do with the Master that isn't just "ranting nut-job" (though a little of that as well).

*Glances in the direction of Big Finish, hopes they aren't listening*

I count her. I don't know that qualifies as an argument. But Katrina seems unambiguous, since she's in more than one story.

That's fair!
