The failing of Big Finish's Two Masters story was largely because they struggled to get a perspective shift that entirely embraced the two Masters to put the Doctor on the sideline. Yes I wish I'd mentioned that "they made it a desert and called it peace". That's such a beautifully evocative phrase, two millenia old, and absolutely still relevant today (given the desert wars and all that). An absolutely pitch-perfect example of what Rona Monroe can bring to the table.
