My grandma use to take pictures of everything at a funeral of loved ones. Everything. Don’t make me elaborate. She is the sweetest, most loving and caring women in the world. Grief is hard and should not be compounded by judging anyone’s behavior. It's gross. Your being gross Marie Lodi!

When I worked at a photo lab, sometimes people would bring it pictures of dead loved ones, from hospitals to the funerals. Personally, I think all funerals are ghoulish and tacky, but who are we to say anything?

There is a tradition of parents taking pictures of their dead children. This was done because it was often the only picture they had of their child. I don't see anything wrong with taking pictures of a casket.

Grief is personal and not everyone handles it the same way. This woman lost her daughter. Let her grieve her way.

My favorite part of this fake media outrage is the fact that the paparazzi who photographed her aren’t even mentioned.

Also... you can laugh or sleep or look at your phone or do your hair or eat comfort food when you’re grieving. It’s normal. Nobody stops being human because they’re hurting. Anyway, some people are judgy as fuck.

There’s a very special place reserved for people who judge grieving mothers. As the girl’s mother exactly whom was she disrespecting? Maybe she chose to present herself as version of the woman her daughter knew best. Like her or hate her she’s proven herself to be pretty indomitable
