Whether or not this is true, I can tell you after pulling the paneling off of 2 of them, they look absolutely horrible underneath. Lots of body filling to get them remotely flat.

That would make sense then, that’s one of the more recent recalls. Inflators are not available for those as of yet. 01-05 civics have full availability.

The accord shouldn’t be waiting on parts. They have been readily available for months now.

What Honda do you own? We have availability for all the inflators included in the first recall, and the latest recalls can get the inflators ordered. Much less than 6 month waiting.
