Did you ever play Syd Mead’s Terraforming on Turbo CD?

“If you made $5,000 a day since Columbus first stepped in America, you still wouldn’t have one billion dollars today.”
Also lucky enough to call the Smokies my backyard and I second visiting Townsend!
Wasn’t that basically the plot of Honey I Shrunk the Kids?
This stuff is psychologically damaging, especially to children. I know it because I lived it. I grew up in a conservative Southern Baptist household and my dad was a deacon in the church. I got dragged to these things as a kid as well as a bunch of hot, miserable big tent revivals and passion plays. The message was…
The easiest thing I can think of is to start with these. A pack of 100 is $10.
It’s weird seeing the Microsoft Studios logo appear on the screen as I load a game on a Nintendo console. It’s also odd to have see my Xbox Live avatar and Gamertag displayed on my Switch screen.
Got this reference immediately.
The Goose as a spoiler in Mario Party would be amazing. What happens when you roll a Goose on the dice or land on a Goose square? Maybe the Goose teams up with you and you can use him to play tricks on piss off the other players. I’m down for that!
JTFC, why can I imagine what that thing sounds like?
In JRPGs where I have to name the main character, I always name him Hiro.
This looks neat, but I still prefer Shock Arrow Fishing.
Yes, I do!
I have hated the music in Dragon Quest for years. It is just so bland. The music in other JRPG series (particularly Final Fantasy) was always so much more evocative even if the games themselves were meh. I’m sure the orchestrated music sounds better, but I’ll still probably hate it.

I don’t plan to sell my collection and retire off the profits. I just want to be able to track down some of the games I could never get my hands on as a kid, play them, and…
This stance ignores scholarship and statistics to the contrary while also failing to consider the pernicious ways in which video games and guns are related.
Best of luck to you too! I definitely know how those panicked impulse buys can be, especially when you think you’ve scored a deal!
Wow, I haven’t come across any fake GB/GBA games, yet. There’s probably 10-15 NES games left I actually want to find for sentimental reasons. The proliferation of fakes of these games (and the ridiculous asking prices) have made me dip out of collecting for a bit.
Yeah, I misused that phrase. That’s the best my brain could do fresh out of bed and before the first cup of coffee.
I hate scummy sellers that try to pass of repros as the genuine article. I’ve come across more and more instances of this online and in brick and mortar retro game stores in the last couple of years. Always ask to see the PCB and compare it to images on NesCartDB. Once, I almost spent $100 on a copy of Panic…
