I liked him fine, but this has been a pretty weak group of male cast members (not my favorite cast overall, but I think the women on balance have been better), and the fact that he was probably the best one sort of reinforces that, in my opinion.

“Aimed at anyone” meant in Israel. Hamas is not aiming at targets. The Iron Dome, an Israeli system, protects civilians in Israel.

If that’s true, how would the solution be to make Israeli civilians less safe? I don’t know that I would be moved to tears by the prospect of them *not* getting killed by indiscriminate rocket fire, but I’m not the progressive golden child.
