When I don’t clean out the pantry that often, I sometimes end up with bushy white bread.

It equals 5. The biggest, greatest, most terrific 5 you’ve ever seen. When I’m done adding 2 and 2 you’re gonna have so many fives you’re gonna be sick of them.

No, there are five lights.

I’ve found it’s helpful to start small, and always in a non-confrontational manner. There’s actually sound neuroscience behind this- if people feel attacked, they go into fight or flight mode and just shut down. So go small and go calm. When I’m done doing that, I like to say, “Well, it’s something to think about,”

My opinion as someone studying (christian) theology: No.

What can be done to combat this kind of thinking? How old is he?

Racism is not a mental illness, nor is mental illness an excuse for racism.

I’m pretty sure the common thread here is marijuana. The employees got freaked out by a customer and hid in the back: high. Dude goes to CVS in the middle of the night looking for cheese and spends 45 minutes wandering around the store: high.

Also, so the cop helped them until they suddenly became a threat?

So about an hour ago I was running on the lovely canal trail in my city. It’s cold and sunny, a perfect day to run off the angst of the last two weeks. I’m waiting to cross the main four lane street when I see a bunch of vehicles with lights and sirens coming towards the intersection. I thought it was a funeral but
