Because everything Trump has been accused of is the same as what democrats have always accused republicans of being, even if they weren't. It's like the boy who cried wolf. When the actual wolf (Trump) shows up after the boy (democrats) have been crying out over non-wolves (Bush, McCain, Romney), no one believed him.

How is Trump "WAY WORSE"? I'm not in denial. If Trump ran as a democrat (which he is, btw), he would have huge support from democratic voters. He already has support from a surprising amount of democrats.
