Annihilation is such a strange book (haven’t read the other two in the series yet), so I’m excited to see how the movie pans out. Plus, Jane’s in it!

I watched this last Monday, and was really happy with it. It has flaws (I didn’t hate the father scene as much as Mike, but it certainly was the worst scene in the film), and it’s pure Sorkin (some people will be put off by that, I wasn’t), but the pace is so breathless that during the best sequences I was genuinely…
