This weekend I will be playing Mass Effect 3 to try and keep my mind off of Pillars of Eternity. I really enjoy the Mass Effect series and this is the first time I have played using an adept and I plan on using the multiplayer for the first time.

I have found gaming to be a good distraction from terrible things like the loss of a friend or loved one. I hope everything works out for you (especially the first principles of a Rubik's Cube).

I too am excited for Pillars of Eternity. I cannot wait for Thursday.

This was an interesting discussion in the last American Physical Society meeting. There is some pretty neat physics being used to model this behavior, while not all that useful for zombie, it could be useful for other infectious diseases.

I had to do a physics problem and I turned the page 90 degrees and realized that I was modeling a penis and two testicles. I couldn't stop giggling after that whenever I saw that problem.

One Dungeon Master I knew about always had one bad guy leader be named Shizzle, so when the final fight (which always included minions) began everyone would shout: For Shizzle!

I don't intentionally mean to make the questions this way, but YOU ROCK!

For me. I always loved the Halo: Reach battle armor. It seemed really futuristic and fairly grounded. I reread Future War and that is what I thought battle armour would be.

It is time for Professor Farnsworth's Question-o-Rama!

I ended up playing a game of Kingdom Hearts where the final boss had infinite health due to a bug, and unfortunately, I saved in some manner such that this boss always seemed to get this bug. It just took all the wind out of my sails to know that I was forever stuck, smacking a massive creature and knowing it would

Hmmm…I wonder if games already use the idea of prompting the system for the "confirm" button. If not this update will be an interesting one that will probably cause many games to be 'updated' to account for that. I'm sure the PS4 would have that sort of thing available for a game to access easily, but it would make

This is a great article, Patrick! I played this game for a bit, and I do think you are on to something.

If you ever felt inclined, I would also recommend Illusion of Gaia. It can be a bit tricky, but it ROCKS!

For me, it would be Baldur's Gate. I am currently playing it, and it spawned a HUGE amount of games that have followed in its footsteps somehow. Dragon Age I, II, III, Pillars of Eternity, D:OS, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I, II.

Nope, we read them for quite a while.

I am playing BG1:EE with an Elf Archer, I plan on playing BG2:EE with the same character. I might try a replay with some sort of caster, but I don't know.

Oh I am now. I am getting REALLY excited for Pillars of Eternity. I love the whole series, but I wish I played it when I was younger.

That was how I felt with many of the Baldur's Gate quests. I had such a hard time that getting into it now makes me feel like I missed out.

The Omni Tool from the Mass Effect series would be AWESOME! A portable computer that also has medical capacities, can allow me to cut metal, and can be used for communication? I'm totally digging it!

It is time for Professor Farnsworth's Question-o-Rama!.
