I vote for Alpha Protocol. It is short (less than 25 hours for a "full" playthrough, i.e. multiple endings and lots of exploring), and it has TONS of little bits that allow you to have fun being a spy.

The award for best shooter goes to: "How beige was my shooter?"!

I disagree. I think that this review aims more towards the overall feel of the video game. Yes, this game maybe for many an "online multi-player experience" only, but there are a few people who do play games for single player experience. Also, to call something uninspired to me seems that the author is implying

Plus it would be great to see an "Italian" accent in the heart of the american west. Then people would go missing if they made fun of his accent, and I personally would enjoy it.

Thank you Matt for such a great week and for all the hard work in the transition! I appreciate this site and the generally great comments that accompany the articles.

And the one liking your comments are a cat! Isn't comment cat wonderful!

I know I can act like a jerk, but I would love to see a more "Sterling Archer" like protagonist on Alpha Protocol and a more "Jason Bourne" like character on the show (just for one episode, then go back to original). The more "Archer" like character would be a really big jerk, but also an incredibly effective

Stakkalee, you are the very best. I think that your system is good as long as you do not go insane. Keep up the great work! I will always cherish my one stud and level 1 jacket.

and for the bad guy maybe even an upstart "hero" who feels that overthrowing the "establishment" is what he was chosen to do. Good idea your holiness.

At the "core" rule…permadeath. I do not like that difficulty since leveling rules make everything random and annoyingly frustrating (unduly so). for "normal" rules…allies die and you have to pay a fee to resurrect them or have a high enough level cleric to cast the resurrect spell (at least I think this is correct).

Wrong place…

NO FLUKA! I just calibrated that! Now I have to adjust all my data to account for Merve guts everywhere! DAMN!

That is impressive. I suck at Kerbal. I am a even a physicist. I (theoretically) know all the equations and ideas behind how to make all this work. I really need to make more use of playing this game.

Baldur's Gate is much, much older. BG uses 2aD&D rules, which had a ton of different rules and involved a lot of challenges associated with it. I am not super familiar with all the changes, but one that bothers me the most is the AC change in 2aD&D is the LOWER your AC the better, where as 3.5 (what NW2 uses) the

Usually…I end up doing group theory proofs in my head or using Qubert's toys to help me understand more quantum mechanics and symmetry problems. That is AWESOME that you were able to use the cosine rule in your head to figure that out.

Best wishes for you @ocelotfox:disqus . I hope you get plenty of time to spend recovering. I also hope your dad gets better soon. It really, REALLY sucks when someone you love is injured and you either can not do anything or can only do very little to help.

Yeah. There was a time or two when I just wanted to send off a fireball and watch the entire world burn. Let the blight go and take over. It would probably be better for everyone.

I am too honor bound to my word in video games. If I say I am going to do it…well I feel that I promised the pixellated woman I would so…death to the dragon woman who slaughtered me 8 or 9 times!

Have fun on that ship…Fry well…he didn't make it. Now, I'm the oldest living member in my family! Also, enjoy XCOM it is really fun.

You just made all my office mates look at me funny from laughing so loudly! Good on you!
