I don’t want Apple and their Utopian ethos in the auto industry. Modern cars are soulless enough as it is.

And now imagine your trees (leaves), bushes and and patio furniture in the event of your neighbor’s successful lift-off.

Airport to airport...kinda feats the purpose, no?

Not until everyone is OK with leaf blowers first....

...and many people still cant handle living next a neighbor with a leaf blower.

Imagining a person with a house...

I think this is where Google’s cozy relationship with the Federal Government is going to come into play.

“Put in a regular parking spot.”

It’s as if these inventors don’t know that helicopters exist.

Until/unless vehicles of this ilk offer the robustness, utility and cost of ownership of an SUV, they’ll never be more than anything but a rich person’s fancy.

I envy you.

The auto industry hasn’t built an honest car since....This was the peak of the mechanical area.

I used to have one of these. I’d pay twice what’s being asked to relive the joy of driving a simple, lightweight and well powered 5-speed VW.

With 25 minutes left in FP 1, Lewis and Nico are trading the top spot for fastest lap.

I live in CT and work in NY. I don’t know if you know anything about traffic in lower Fairfield County, its about as bad as can be found anywhere.

My mind is happiest when its involved in performing a task—I think that’s perhaps human nature? I don’t need more time to fuck around on the internet or watch movies. Supervising a moving car sounds much more tedious than driving one, even in traffic.

Im just getting very tired of tech that does things for us that can do for ourselves. What else am I going to do while the car drives itself?

With a human, and a mistake happens, its clear whose at fault. Thus there is a deterrent factor. How does that work with driver automation?

Coffee...shot right out my nostrils. Thanks.

Un, no.
