I went to Kathy Rumer and had an awful experience.

That is flippin’ adorable, and it does my heart good to see the kids flourishing (thanks in no small part to supportive parents!)

kudos for this stance, I hope she continued to encourage goodwill and support.

Even if I were assigned female at birth, I would never put myself out there for the scrutiny of the SI swimsuit issue and its largely knuckle-dragging audience. As a trans woman? That takes courage and confidence I can’t even imagine.

Couple of thoughts:

I’m trans, someone who knows this and uses he/him pronouns for me is making a political choice. Same with someone who uses she/her for me. Everything is political.
