Microsoft engineers do not depend on OneDrive running.. on my Surface Pro 3. I can promise you this. It’s also not stupid crazy hard to remove. It’s really simple.

It’s great when you do use it, but when you don’t, it’s annoying to see it everywhere. There’s a lot of reasons not to want the extra connections to Microsoft, as well.

I’m of the opinion that we should be able to uninstall programs that are not essential to the operating system, including default apps like Groove Music and Film & TV. Fixing things is part of the Lifehacker MO
