They have an olx site and mercadolibre (ebay copy). And a bunch of smaller used car sites. Remember to search for Volkswagen Escarabajo as that is the spanish name. If they don’t have the price in USD, they use Soles (PEN).

This makes sense as the Beetle (nicknamed “Sapito” in Peru) is very popular, and Peru it’s not a very rich country so they probably had to make these “home made” front and rear ends to repair them and add storage as a bonus.

WHAT? You like the rear mounted spare? It looks cool but you can’t open it when you parallel park and it easier to hit other cars and cause more damage, having it under the car makes a lot more sense.

Nissan is releasing this to compete with the Fortuner (Hilux based) and Pajero Sport (L200 based) so it might have the same wacky styling as those:

Went to a Peruvian used car website and they have quite a few which is amazing as I’ve never seen or heard of this. I’m pretty sure they are just for cosmetics as some are made to look like new Beetles and none of them really look the same, just a similar concept.

I wouldn’t say a burnout is reckless driving but the smell and noise could bother some people enough to complain to the police.

I’m guessing if anyone named Adam/Carl drives these...

Doesn’t the FWD Juke Nismo (the only way you can get the manual) has a twist beam rear suspension? The AWD + CVT adds the independent rear suspension though.

Kia has improved quite a bit since the 90's but they are nowhere near that much better than Nissan, both brands have good build quality even though the materials in the Nissan aren’t as nice, the fit and finish is very similar to the Kia.

Because Note is the international name, it is named Versa Note in the US for marketing reasons.

Well you are welcome, -eta in Spanish can be used as a diminutive like Avión (plane) and Avioneta (small plane like a Cessna) the word Luna is written and pronounced the same for glass or Moon, the meaning just depends if you are talking about glass or not.

Luna is basically a sheet of glass, Luneta is the sheet of glass that is located in the back of a car. No clue where the word actually comes from though.

Same in Spanish, Parabrisas (literally means windshield) for the front and Luneta for the rear. I’ve seen that depending on the country you can say Luna for any car window though.

But what if you are drifting, do the side windows turn into windshields?

A hammer is the only tool you need in a vehicle:

The wheel is still there but not the tyre, the weight was so much that it pushed the tyre off the wheel.

They are both crossovers, if we forget that the word “crossover” exists and just consider it a marketing word, the Outback is a wagon and the Forester is an SUV. The Forester looks taller than the Outback because it has a taller glass area compared to the more car like window line of the Outback which is heavily based

And Honda did make a Fit Wagon for Japan called the Fit Shuttle:

I’d say the civic hatch it’s not a wagon just for the small rear overhang compared to the front.

It’s a liftback coupe, same thing with the Celica and Supra.
