Maybe the hate she received back from people made her shut down. Maybe she can’t mentally take anymore, and decided not to go any further. It’s happened to women for years. It happened to me at work once. I learned to never speak of it again to protect myself.

i dislike the idea of “classy”, especially in this instance. she has every right to “go further”, if she so chooses. her choice, i would imagine, has nothing to do with class, and everything to do with protecting herself from online abuse and more mental anguish.

While I believe she firmly has the right to do this and move on with her life, I’m disappointed because it looks like the AMC investigation was incomplete and the Hardy boy will be able to get back to it.

I totally respect her decision not to go further than she already did (and in some ways, it’s almost classy), but it’s a shame that Hardwick is getting off this lightly. I never liked him because he always seemed so fake, so to hear the (admittedly alleged) extent of his fakeness was really the final nail in the nerd…
