Its a rule made up by guys that will likely never have a girl to give anything to. Incel bitterness ftw

You have a very skewed idea of what it takes to be a “terrible person.” That aside: I wish I knew how to explain to you that you should care about other people.
If someone has killed multiple babies due to their addictions, whether you find them sympathetic or not, they don’t deserve and are not capable of living in free society.
I just feel sorry for everyone. I am lucky to have been to jail for a few minor things (breaking apartment lease, not going to court = court of contempt and they WILL issue warrant for your 18-year-old broke ass!) and to have met women who have lost babies to drugs. I no longer have any anger or judgment, it’s all…
Jessica Price was fired for being nasty and mean to a community member that, by any sober analysis, attempted to engage her in a polite and respectful manner. The real tragedy of this story is the second writer getting fired for chiming in and trying to calm the situation down. That seems very undeserved.
The pile-on isn’t their “clientele.” The flash mob that descends when it smells blood in the water are not their customers or players. A Reddit thread full of angry screechers is going to be comprised primarily of people who don’t even play your game, especially after it’s publicized and spreads.
I have to believe that the angry mob is a tiny percentage of the user base. Just once I’d like to see the silent majority all cancel their accounts and show the company what a real loss looks like, but I didn’t even know Guild Wars 2 was still around.
It’s interesting how this narrative is being shaped by people with differing opinions. Kotaku is slanted a bit towards Price’s view whereas most of the comments are firmly against her. There clearly is some sexism towards Price, but the vast majority of what happened are consequences for her actions towards a customer…
1. I am so glad that I am not living in the corporate hellhole that is know as America. I don’t care if she was rude on social media, to just fire her, and a person that defend her, should happen without any warning. It would be fixed internally, otherwise this happens.
I always forget how popular TB was with the hair trigger set on display here. The circles I run in tend to recognize him for the asshat he was.
Well I’m pretty disappointed about the majority of the comments here.
So many sides to this story, and pretty much all of them shitty.
Jesus Nathan. Seriously man, do you volunteer to put the target on your back at this point? I can’t imagine the shit being slung your way for actually reporting on what the gamergate shitheels are doing must be like.
The lion’s share of the angst about Jessica Price is because she didn’t tongue bath TotalBiscuit. All these shirking violets, fainting at the word ‘asshat’. But wait 3 minutes, and they will bring up TB. Every time.
Judging by the responses on this article, it seems that “gamers” don’t seem to understand the greater public optics. From years of misogynistic and self-entitled behavior, even if they ARE right in this specific instance (which I don’t think they are), no one will see it that way. Piss away any goodwill you have, and…
I’m really beginning to be ashamed that I’m part of a community that has such a large number of ignorant and waste of space shitsticks who choose to take up such stupid fucking causes, due to general toxicity, anonymity, misogyny, racism, homophobia.. It's beyond pathetic every time I see an article like this, or…
These shits don’t care who they’re after, as long as they’re female. Whether they’ve actually done anything is irrelevant. They accidentally went after someone who insulted members of the community for no good reason and now they think they’re hot shit because she got fired. They don’t have nearly as much power as…
Gamers are shit.
See also: IHOP. They let kids eat free some nights, which is obviously discrimination against me, an adult.
You know what they should look into - veterans’ benefits and pricing. Everywhere I go its, 10%, 15% off products and services for veterans. Heck, the injured ones even get a break on their property taxes! Some businesses flat out promote this imbalanced fee system right out in public. I for one am pretty sick and…
