I'm in the same spot! I got married last week and had to deal with everyone asking what we were doing with our last names, and when I was going to change mine. His last name after mine sounds totally lame - so we're either both changing it, or he's taking mine.

Yes, I've heard the same. Though I will say - Marc Destefano is an amazing teacher, and I wish he taught every game course there. Shawn Lawson was also a great teacher who I respect highly. If you do leave, try to get a class with those 2 guys before you leave.

So, I went a pretty well known engineering school in the Northeast (RPI) for game design, and didn't learn dick when it came to game development in the real world.
