I could have sworn I read about Taylor’s new boyfriend here on Jez last week before the Katy Perry carpool karaoke bit aired. Giving print media a week to catch up... how is it in response to Perry?
I think you have to find x number of people who not only can do the choreography, but who are willing to take a year away from home and live on the road and know what that means (including not bugging out to take another job or go home because they miss their boyfriend/cat/eating homemade food). And be enough of a…
I agree - I think the problem with artists revealing the genesis of songs they’ve written is that people take them literally. Perry no doubt pissed her off, she thought of an angry lyric, and she fleshed it out into a broader song about betrayal.
I’m curious — did any of his friends and family say “he went the way he would have wanted to go”?
I’m having flashbacks to when I took an Alaskan cruise. Was on a small tour bus headed for something or other and the driver stopped because there was a mother bear and two cubs coming up out of the river onto the road. He let people out to take pictures. I thought WTF? We weren’t all that close but I didn’t bother…
Absolutely. Bullying requires active malice, seeking someone out to be mean to them. Saying an unkind thing, even intentionally, is not bullying. Not inviting somebody to a party is not bullying. Walking up to that person and pointing out that they’re not invited to the party and everybody else is and at the party…
As I recall HE sued HER. She had him kicked out of the concert. They notified the radio station because he was there in some sort of official capacity and thought they should be aware. Don’t remember if they fired him outright or just suspended him,but he sued her and she said fine, let’s discuss the assault charges…
His initial defense was that it was somebody else who did it, to which she responded that she knew EXACTLY who did it. And her behavior immediately following the incident, identifying him through the official photographer and getting him kicked out of the venue reflects that certainty.
Now that she’s got him on the record denying that this particular witness is qualified because she’s not trained in psychology and has never been an expert witness, when she calls the 20 psychologist expert witnesses she’s no doubt got lined up, he’ll have fewer grounds to dispute their qualifications.
Sadly, a lot of people didn’t get the reference (from previously tv):
It belonged to Kelly Preston when they were living together. She moved on to John Travolta and left the pig with George. Why do I know this? I do not know why I know this.
Heh heh — the girl in high school who beat me out for Yearbook Editor ultimately published her photo with “Editor and Chief” underneath it, which took a lot of the sting out of it.
I think the distinction Ivanka would make is between Women Who Work (like Ivanka), and Workers Who Just Happen to be Women (who don’t matter.)
Can someone take pity on a non-gamer and say what’s going on here? Is the “Sean” dialogue just stuck?
Showrunner Bruce Miller told the New York Times, “I don’t feel like it’s a male or female story; it’s a survival story.”
She and Ivanka should really team up for a “My Daddy LOVES Women, HONEST!” tour.
Tracey Ullman plays her as convinced that she’s a sex bomb keeping everything tamped down so as to curb the passions of the other world leaders. When offered a minor variation on the Merkel jacket, she responds “I’m not sitting in a window in Amsterdam!”
This ties in very nicely with previous Murdoch-owned companies hacking people’s phones, a scandal which tanked their last attempt at purchasing Sky. They tried to make the O’Reilly thing go away before their upcoming hearing on the current purchase attempt, but this accusation brings things full circle (or should, if…
Maybe they didn’t find the royal tomb because it was one of those granaries Ben Carson was talking about, and the biological matter has long since decayed.
