I have a friend from India like this. I don't need excuses as to why you are late (that are obvious lies), just call me and tell me you're running late. I don't care. We'll work around it and meet up later. But the "I'll be there in 5 minutes" for 45 minutes means I waste my time instead of using it more

There were no development kits back then. Just memory addresses and assembly language.

I would think the bigger problem would be when they sue their own customers.

I thought footballs were 13 psi.

If you filled it with hydrogen, the ball would burst into flames when you kick it. ;) (J/K)

If this was the law I would just permanently home-school my children.

Try again. Irreducible complexity is far away from being settled. It's one of the top problems facing the theory of evolution right now. Even cells are like giant factories that need all their pieces to do anything. It very difficult to see how that all started working together when any one piece missing or

Drop Comcast and go with a cellphone provider for internet service (but not one that throttles quickly). Choose one with a strong 4G signal in your area. You might have better luck.

The only problem on my Asus laptop is that the keyboard connector keeps coming loose about every 6 months. I've had to take out 15 screws with a micro screwdriver and reseat it about 6 times. But other than that, it's rock solid. Sounds really bad, but it's actually a very minor annoyance since I can easily open it.

MPAA lobbyist?

All these cards have high annual fees. I only take cards with a $0 annual fee. After 2 years, if I'm up $200-$500, I think I can afford a flight.

The UC Davis study also proved that tasting is a farce.

Yeah, but fortunately we can get the "protected" ones and taste them side by side. Many times the European products are so poor they need to be "protected" because they can't compete.

Actually, just ban the product from import for one year for improper labeling. That'll get their attention.

Exactly. While I think there is some truth to this, the studies see how many "friends" rich people have and then put the cart before the horse. See, it takes lots of friends to be rich!
