Drop Comcast and go with a cellphone provider for internet service (but not one that throttles quickly). Choose one with a strong 4G signal in your area. You might have better luck.

The only problem on my Asus laptop is that the keyboard connector keeps coming loose about every 6 months. I've had to take out 15 screws with a micro screwdriver and reseat it about 6 times. But other than that, it's rock solid. Sounds really bad, but it's actually a very minor annoyance since I can easily open it.
