Do people just not bother wiping down the wheel when they detail their cars? Mine gets a thorough cleaning and conditioning every time.

Pickups might make shitty cars but they make amazing trucks.

I’d been sideways countless times at the autoX when I decided to try the skidpad for the first time. I can go sideways, right? Oh hell no. It took a dozen tries to get even a halfway decent skid, and countless more before I was able to drift consistent laps. It’s definitely harder than it looks, and there’s no

My Tacoma has been anything but a shitty car for its 22 years. I still drive it regularly and it’s never been in the shop.

Or a Toyota for 20+ years and it still ain’t blowed up.

I’ve got a kid, a mastiff, and a 1-series coupe. Screw minivans.

They actually swap wheels for his full bodied codrivers.

I’ll try to get a video for you at Sebring in a few weeks. Cold starting our TransAm car’s NASCAR V8 is the alarm clock of the gods.

I searched for months upon months to find such a unicorn, and my search led me to a 2011 BMW 128i 6MT. Gotta say, it’s a real joy to drive, too, and happens to have all the Harmon-Kardon bluetooth comfort access nonsense

I’ve hit low 40s a couple of times and it’s quite terrifying.

That’s not a BAD thing, the current crop of BMW interiors is pretty damn good.

The fugly is forgivable once you drive one, they’re a blast.

A MINT IT-R I could see going for $22k, but a beater IT-R - even bone stock - is maybe half that. This thing is beaten and tired after 20 years as a daily driver. It’s got a lot of potential but needs a lot of restoration. Slash the price in half and I’ll take it, but for $22k, pass the crack pipe.

Criminal enterprise breaks the law. Fire is hot. Ice is cold. Water is wet. It gunna rain.

I LOVE the air jacks on our TransAm car. It makes life so much easier.

Plus none of that stuff is beyond the capabilities of a home mechanic. My Toyota, and in fact all of my cars, have failed to break anything I couldn’t fix.

Florida here, no emissions or inspections.

Literal truth. I do my own alignments too. She’s been a very reliable truck.

I’ve done 100% of the maintenance since the day I got it, and I jackstand it to take the wheels/tires to the shop via. another car because I don’t trust installers not to screw up my lugs. I plan to get a tire mounting machine once I finish my shed.
