Mine is simple. Having dabbled in LeMons and Chump stuff over the years (and planning to do more), my real genuine automotive fantasy is to run in the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Unfortunately, I’ll never have the finances or connections to make it happen. I have the passion, but not the bank. Such is life.

I run with my lights on 100% of the time I’m driving. Luckily, BMWs turn off all lights when you lock them, so leaving the switch to “ON” doesn’t kill the battery.

Sure it’s got 900+ ft/lbs of torque, but could it convince my English mastiff to move when he decides it’s nap time? I doubt it!

Find the nearest autocross and have at. They aren’t your tires!

Winner. Close the comments thread, quickly... before another Mustang gets in!

Looks like turn two of EVERY online Assetto Corsa race...

No kidding. It’s a 24/7 job where he essentially makes $45/hr ($400k / 365 / 24). That’s GS-13.1 money right there (GS-13.1 = $45.42/hr). Freakin’ GS-14's make more per hour than POTUS does (GS-14.1 = $53.68/hr). If Bush and Obama wanted to take a day here and there to play golf, I think they freakin’ earned it.

Florida man here... yep... that really, genuinely is what it’s like living here...

For some things, yes. Other things are classified.

I see two of them in my area on a regular basis. People love these giant bastards. If BMW would make a freakin’ M5 wagon already.........

Couldn’t agree more!

Intel here: I work for the President. Be it Bush Jr., Obama, or Trump, matters very little to me. The President is my boss, not the person, the office.

Seriously, how good would it be to see the summer Daytona race use the Rolex road course?!?!?!

I’ve taken my son every year since he was 2 1/2 and we’re going again next month. Monster Trucks never get old, I’ve been going since I was about 5. Protip: Shooting earmuffs are ESSENTIAL for making it enjoyable for the little ones.

BUT I DON’T LIKE SPAM!!!

Wait wait wait....... They were still building the SS?

Confirmed, picked up an ‘11 128i 6MT early last year for well under 15k. It’s the perfect DD.

Drive my 2011 128i 6MT every day and seriously have zero desire to get rid of it for any reason. Had it nearly a year now and haven’t had to fix one single solitary anything on it.

Did a car swap at the track with a friend a long time ago. His Cayman S and my ratshit NA Miata. Both of us came out of it grinning and laughing like fools. He had so much fun beating on my whip like it owed him money, I had a blast feeling actual power and grip for a change. Done car swaps with turbocharged Civics,

I think I have the best wife ever, she got me a new MIG!
