I used to live five minutes from IAD/Dulles, and nearly refused to pick friends up there because of how bad it sucks. It literally stacks the rudest drivers in the area (which is famous for being rude) into a disorganized speed trap where they’re ALL on the phone.

I can’t unsee the swirl mark!

The new Miata looks quite good in photographs, it looks AWESOME in person. Same with the new Corvette Stingray.

This is actually a really big problem for us DIY guys, so every car I’ve ever owned has had a logbook in the glove box of every gas stop and service along with mileage and date stamps for every event.

Exactly what I was thinking!

A drop this minor probably wouldn't damage a thing on a Wrangler.

Except the base convertible starts at $29k.

No, but now he wants a dashcam like mine!

It didn't stall, it high-centered. My coworker was sitting in his car directly behind it when it happened.

This happened literally in front of my coworker. He was sitting right behind the truck and watched it happen.

This is horrible, hideous, pointless, overkill, and.....

According to a borrowed dB meter, it was 144 dB from about 5 feet away. Admittedly, it's way, WAY too loud. I love it so much.

Where to even start... Don't lower anything for looks, it'll ride like ass. If you lower it for performance, don't buy a "KIT". Get the right springs for your use, the right shocks for those springs, and sway bars are a band-aid, not a cure.

I was gonna say, this is a default position for anyone who's done a car stereo, alarm, heater core, ECU, blower motor, brake switch... (I could go on)

This is why dashcam!

Now playing

No no no, THIS is how you bork up a standing race start!

I edited mine because it started out with that exact same sentence.

I can't remember. I won my first Big Wheel race at 4 years old, beating the 5-6 year old group because I was the only one who leaned forwards. I started go-karting at 6, played with Hot Wheels until... well, I'm 32 and still do. Went to my first Daytona 500 at 7, Bristol and Darlington that year too. I celebrated Alan

I literally have never been to a mechanic in the 18 years since I started driving. The single exception is tire changes, because I simply lack the machinery. Even then, more often than not, I bring the wheels in my truck bed and leave the car on jack stands in the garage. I'm that OCD about it.
