I've often found that the best way to get out of a speeding ticket is to just drive the speed limit. I'm one of approximately one people in Florida who adopts this policy.

I, too, hypermile my Miata in between fits of WOT power-sliding. Despite driving like a hoon half the time, I'm averaging 31mpg!

My three year old is already learning to drive stick via. Assetto Corsa. He'll have it figured out by the time he's 4. I know 40 year olds who can't drive stick.

Case in point, I sold a nearly-mint 2001 E39 BMW with 74,000 miles two months ago for roughly double what KBB valued it at, and 3x what a dealership offered me for it. Guy who bought it was ecstatic to find one so new, and could care less about KBB.

My son just turned 3. I traded my E39 for a Miata. Screw minivans, we roll with the top down!

I live in Jacksonville Beach and my GF's roller derby team is based out of Gainesville, so is her mom's horse farm. We go from Gainesville to Jacksonville at least a few times a month, I can do the drive with my eyes closed.

My personal ultimate two-vehicle garage: Ariel Atom 3 (middle-range on the options list) and a 535i wagon nicely loaded.

I'd love to see NASCAR at VIR, but the paddock would need roughly $10m in upgrades (according to the owner), so sadly, it'll never happen. :-(

I'm going to disagree with automatic headlights, because they DON'T come on in the rain and no one thinks to turn them on, so you end up with a huge quantity of drivers breaking the law whenever it rains.

Honestly, as a seasoned track hoon, I'll COMPLETELY agree with Doug on this one. 99% of people out there probably can't even push the limits of a freakin' Corolla, let alone a 650S. You buy these machines for the passion, nothing more, and you'll never, NEVER drive better than the car.

For once, can we please have less crappy music and more THOUSAND HORSEPOWER MUSIC?!?!

In the rain.

When my son was born, I sold my track car and built a simulator with the money. Worth it. So worth it.

What's really terrifying right now for my friends and me is that we all race or raced at Summit, and we all know the BSR instructors, and no one is letting the name out yet. We lost one a couple years ago as well, so this really hits home again. It's a big family at BSR and Summit Point. R.I.P.

Microsoft proved that by releasing it.

Alex, next time you're in North Florida, stop by for a glass of single malt and we can discuss the Morgan. I've never driven one, so feel free to bring yours.

Because Hondas of that generation only used a limited number of keys. It's a known fault.

We'll change it anyway. We don't care about taking things apart.

The point isn't to brace the chassis, it's to brace the drivetrain to reduce DT loss. Had one on my 1990, every Miata has one, as they should.

The PRHT only weighs 77#.
