"I'm not racist, because only a racist could possibly conceive of a situation or idea that might be considered racist. Therefore YOU are the racist, racist!"

Is that a decal? I would love to have that on my 3DS!
Yeah, the "real life" stories are pretty harrowing sometimes as well (at least the headlines are, I never have actually bought the magazine). The top one on their website right now is "Brave girl, 13, digs herself out of grave after being raped and buried alive". Who sees that and thinks "yep, that's the magazine for…
Whilst I agree fully that they're not owed respect, I assume she's taking the high ground here rather than feeling pressured into treating them well. If she was just whipping out her camera, taking a shot, and flipping them off and laughing at them, it would just be vengeful, vindictive and boring.
I was literally just about to post about my slight swoon over the before shot. I like 'em scruffy.
I was horribly disappointed when I ordered a Pumpkin Spice latte from Starbucks (when they were in the UK for the first time). It was like my face was imploding from oversweetness.
Well, that's my evening handed over to Civ. Drat.
Literally what I came to post too. As a film it did have pretty much zero female characters of interest (maybe Hardscrabble, but also maybe still a sort of "minority feisty"?), but the frat/sorority entry in the games wasn't an issue.
That's just a matter of ignorance on the student's part though. People hate change, and kids certainly do, so obviously there's initially going to be some issues.
The best meal I had all year was a massive vegan buffet at a spiritual commune type settlement. I swear I'd probably pretend to see fairies if it meant I got to eat there year round.
Oh no, someone made their own wedding day about them. How dare they make their ceremony a reflection of their mutual interests and values.
I'm relatively sure this has been on the UK one since its inception. It shares your watched movies to Facebook, and is opt out.
Because, and here's the key point. Feminism is NOT about making women feel awesome and men feel shitty. As much as you probably want it to be.
This is so much better than the aggravating nonsense that was published. The major problem with the original is that people seeking advice for sex problems shouldn't be treated as a podium for launching mediocre jokes at their expense. And yet yours was still funny and lighthearted... you'd genuinely be great at these…
TV and film is rife with "dropped the soap" jokes and "do you know what they do to guys like me in prison?" gags. Neither is funny really, not just in terms of being offensive, but also in terms of just being incredibly stale and boring.
Actually, women attempt suicide at a much higher rate than men.
I don't think the commenter is intentionally using gay as an insult here, I think they're more just poking fun at the percieved insecurity of the editor.
What's so hard to believe? "Headline at six: song annoys person!"
"You Belong With Me" is up there in my top Anthems That Really Wind Me Up, along with half of Bruno Mars's back catalogue. It's just that self absorbed, entitled notion that she's somehow a better person than her crush's girlfriend, because she wears sneakers and is unpopular. Uh, whatever you say, Taylor Swift.
