25 minutes at ours. 30 if it's a massive blockbuster like Harry Potter or Batman. Waiting for the film to start is as much of a pain for employees as it is customers, trust me.

As a cinema employee, as long as you're picking up your candy wrappers and food packets we're all pretty cool with it. I usually take in my own stuff too. However, it's when we have to scrape someone's egg sandwich or half eaten burger off the floor that we're not so happy.

I took the survey they cited in their decision making, and I remember there was a part that asked if you felt civil partnerships were sufficient for LGBT people, and whether marriage needed to be legalised. I'm assuming some people surveyed opposed gay marriage because they felt civil partnerships provided enough

I've got a really broad back and not particularly large boobs, I was a 40B at one point. Finding bras that fit was awful... apparently only women up to a 36 inch back are permitted to have small boobs. Even the specialist shops tended to cater mostly just to bigger cup sizes, rather than large back/small cups. My

Hah, this song was my first thought too. Although call me unromantic and heartless, but I don't see people traveling specific distances in uncomfortable ways as a very good act of romance/penance.

I somewhat want to download this, but I think I've reached Kairosoft saturation point.

I agree, The girl seems to enjoy the majority of her school meals, and is being very fair and level headed even when she doesn't. It's a shame the tabloids don't seem to have the same level of respect.

This has made my week. If I were her parents, I don't think I'd ever be able to stop smiling... such a insightful, inspirational and bright young girl.

Buttermilk biscuits sound fantastic. I could maybe just bake a delicious husband out of those.

Key word here is "correlated". I bet I can find you a whole slew of overweight ladies who have less health problems than their "normal" weight peers, including problems generally associated with weight, such as high cholesterol. It's not just as clear cut as "fat people are always unhealthier". I think that's what the

I'd have thought the reasons for this to be pretty obvious, considering people in costume could very easily be mistaken for employees. Any misconducts by these individuals would reflect badly on the park, despite them having no real affiliation. Not to mention the safety issues of having shady costumed adults who

I second this. The fact people find Bruno Mars lyrics "romantic" baffles me to my deepest core.

Massive respect for you. Sometimes, it's actually nice to see people give a crap about others and consider how words can interpreted by individuals, instead of desperately clinging to "super edgy" hackneyed trash talk.

Christ. Let's just ask the rape victim why she got raped so much, then proceed to judge her for it. People have different circumstances, but even so, someone leading an extremely secure and privileged lifestyle is not immune from the sick, twisted deviance of a rapist, or even multiple rapists. Let's maybe try blaming

Know where kids learn to swear?

I made some today. I had two, and ended up on an insane 2 hour sugar rush..

That... that is food? Especially the jalapeno condom one, aurgh. Going to go open my fridge and look at the contents to make myself feel better about this.

I seem to have an unintentional thing for beards. And I'm OK with that.

I agree with you entirely here, that pretty much sums up my feelings. I too didn't intend to go back to University, but I definitely need to. It's nice to be able to take a step back and look at things. It'd also be nice not to be in retail sometimes too.

I've been graduated a year, and I'm still working in a cinema. And surprisingly, despite my joking to the contrary, I'm actually OK with that right now. My money/power aspirations are pretty much non-existant, I can nearly afford everything I want and need anyway.
