Lately I’ve been terrified by the conversations I’ve been having with many of my Millennial acquaintances in regards to voting in the fall. I recently talked to a late twentysomething who is very liberal, despises Trump, desperately wants him out of office, and yet “I’m just so torn about voting for Biden.” I looked

Well said.

Oh it’s a law alright, but we don’t even have metal detectors in our main public building (and I live in the Midwest where gun nuts are everywhere). We just recently got a security guard to man the upfront lobby, so progress I guess?

In that article they include Gen Xers among “younger generations.” I’m talking about Milennials here, and I stand by what I wrote: their track record of voting is shitty. I do not trust them to follow through and get the job done. Many of us Gen Xers greatly preferred Bernie or Warren to Biden, but dammit, we’re

Honestly, for as much as they complain, Millennials don’t have a good track records of voting. I’ll take my chances with the older folks who DO vote and are backing Biden.

It’s exactly this type of divisive horseshit that will get Trump elected again.

I don’t know how they were even allowed in the building with guns. I work for local government, and every one of our buildings has “no guns allowed” signs posted.

I used to work with a guy who was kinda redneck-y. Nice enough fellow, but he came across as your typical cowboy tough-guy. One day in the lunch room a bunch of us were discussing our phobias. Mr. Cowboy Tough Guy said that he didn’t have many, but quote, “I got issue with fowl.” Everyone in the room busted a gut

I’ve been a fan of Gavin Newsom for years (and I live in the Midwest). I really hope one day he runs for president.

Irrfan Khan was a phenomenal actor (watch HBO’s In Treatment or the 2006 movie The Namesake if you want to see how truly great acting is done). He deserves more than a quick Dirt Bag mention.

EXACTLY. Both my mom and I have always looked younger than we are (probably part of the reason why her doctor recommended less is more for her), but if I ever decide to get anything done to my face, this is the goal.

I had breast reduction/lift surgery a few years ago, and I was so impressed with my doctor. He never tried to sell me on any other procedures, and was nothing but professional and practical. My mom later went to see him about some minor facial procedures, and he actually talked her out of a few things, saying she

For me it’s classic rock. With everything that’s been going on I’ve found myself wanting more and more to listen to the music my parents raised me on (maybe it’s a nostalgia thing, longing for happier times). Lots of Zeppelin, the Stones, Allman Brothers, Yes, Creedence,The Guess Who, Pink Floyd, etc. The musical

The arrogance is killing me... “Officer, you really don’t want to do that.” Are you fucking kidding me?!

“Really meet my goals”? Fuck off with this horseshit.

One of the many things I love about the Irish is their casual approach to celebrities. I was there in 2016 and walked past Jamie Dornan on the street in the middle of Dublin; no one else even batted an eye. I spoke with an employee at our hotel about how Bruce Springsteen typically stays there when he’s in town. It

You and me both. Mike/Joel and the bots are keeping me sane.

Can confirm. I work in local government, and our elected officials are pushing to get everything back to normal, no matter the human cost. They’re much more concerned with the financial impact then the potential health risks to their employees or the public at large. Lately they’ve been spouting that “cure can’t be

You’re doing parenting right. I don’t judge people for the subjects of their tattoos, but I do judge shitty work.

I have never been more thankful for my decision to not have kids than I am right now. As a massive introvert who most days really only wants to be around my husband, the idea of being trapped in a house with a bunch of kids is terrifying. I’d have had a nervous breakdown by now.
