I dunno, this seems pretty typical of a corporation protecting it’s image. I expected this story to be more shocking. Is the spy team telling the victim not to go to the police? Now THAT would be horrifying. As it stands, I’m sure this spy team shiz is going on in tandem with the police investigation, since the victim

I loved this interview. I only see Michelle on Drag Race so I only see her living in a man’s world. Sure, those men are wearing dresses and makeup, but the cast, crew, choreographers, and many guest hosts are men. So it was really lovely seeing this other side of her talking about women’s issues to a woman. I’ll

god...  is there anything you can’t hate on, Joan?

I wonder if they had June rape Luke as the start of why they’ll ultimately break up and June and Nick end up together (which is totes going to happen). I can see them having June starting to hit rock bottom here, then get therapy and help and start getting back to a healthy state, and then her not being able to be

I’m so dumb I didn’t realize it was Tina Fey until I started saying how great this young actress was at the impression and my partner was like “...that’s Tina Fey.”

This is incredible. Imagine the power we lowly people would have if we didn’t have to rely on gatekeeps (police, prosecutors, politicians, etc.) to get us what we wanted?

Wait you threw out chicken jut because it sat out for five hours? That was still perfectly good chicken!

What a dream cast/creator. I’m watching through all of this tonight. I’ll cross my fingers for a Kimmy Schmidt-length run for this but it feels more like a single season kind of thing. (How free could Sara Bareilles really be for multiple season?)

All I have to say is this show better have a great effing reason for killing off Caleb because Jenine is our baby girl and I’m already bracing myself for the emotional devastation when she finds out about him.

I too thought/worried that the show was adding in a hint of an attraction between Moira and Emily and I for one hope that was and is not the case. It reeks of “Oh hey--you two are lesbians, why don’t you date?” Let there just be two lesbians with their own lives! Rita and Luke like each other’s genders, but they’re

There are more commenters here saying they can’t watch the show any more than there are watchers. I don’t get the motivation to comment. As a watcher, I wanted to discuss the ep in the comments so I was surprised to see the ratio.

As I understand it, only the highest/most important of Gilead men get handmaids since there aren’t that many to go around. I assume since Keyes has an insanely young wife, she only got assigned to him recently and he had hoped she was not barren since some random women aren’t and the only way to find out is to try to

And she *was* a princess so her actual name was Princess Diana...

I hate to wade into this because it’s so so dumb, but in that pictured tweet at the top of the page, the archive account that tweeted the first message said she “pulled [it] off better than anyone else”, which is or could be construed as throwing shade at other people who wore it, right? And if Selena famously wore

I was always under the impression that sympathy came from a place of having experienced the same/similar thing as the affected person and therefore could relate, whereas empathy came from not having experienced it but being able to imagine how they feel.

I don’t get why the avalanche theory is bizarre. Many of the bodies were found later after snow melted, supporting the idea that the bodies were brought a half mile down the mountain by the avalanche. The snow tossed the tent around, which required the person or persons in it to cut themselves out from the inside.

Cleaver 2: Still Cleaving After All These Years

I’m so happy Ru has finally let a trans man on the show. I was previously under the impression that it would be strange for someone who was born with a female body to then compete at dressing up like a woman, but seeing a trans man on the show makes it clear how wrong I was — Gottmik still has to go out there and put

My fav is a line from an outtake they showed on one of those outtake roundups they used to air in primetime, where Carlton was trying to say “But it’ll cut into my trick or treating time!” but could not stop rolling “But” and “it’ll” together. I still say it today.

I just somehow watched all 13 minutes of that clip of Friday’s show and it was painful to watch and so heartbreaking. I don’t understand how the audience could sit there and act like she was being normal. Like, weren’t they worried about her? Just watching the clip I felt like someone needed to get her to a doctor
