As someone who literally just got her hair cut, do stylists prefer small talk or no? Because I figure talking is distracting from the actual hair cutting, and I figure I don’t like people bothering me when I’m working. But then I see other stylists/clients talking about their new baby or closing on a house or whatever.

Are you also an Arrested Development fan because that’s all this is reminding me of:

Mark Ruffalo is a treasure.

I have wraps from goscratchit too! I have the tiger ones from last month (two months ago?) and haven’t worn them yet because I’m trying to decide if tiger is office appropriate.

Ugh, that second story is just infuriating. Like, what are women (and girls) supposed to do? “Please sir, put your dick away”? Ignore it? Make a scene? Guys like that obviously get off on making women uncomfortable. There’s just no winning.

Growing up, my best friends were blonde and athletic, so I think I noticed it vicariously through them. I don’t have a singular experience that comes to mind, but I definitely remember being in a group of 12-13 year old girls and getting unwanted attention.

That and “I just want to eat dinner.”

The scene with Sally on the phone with Glenn’s mom is everything. Well acted, well shot, and heartbreaking.

THERE IS NO DEBATE, WEAR THE EARRINGS!

I THINK HER DAUGHTER WILL BE A JEDI BUT LEIA ALSO HAS THE FORCE SO I’M EXCITED TO SEE WHAT SHE’LL DO. I CAN’T STOP TYPING IN CAPS EITHER.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! HAVE A BALL DROID!

IS THAT LEIA WITH A LIGHTSABER?

SAME. But for real though, I prefer to think of the ending as Sandy letting go of very limiting 1950’s sexually repressed gender norms and embracing fun things, like leather pants!

You nailed it. Megan is the terrible floozy who Don married instead of Faye (despite the fact that we know Don would have ruined his change with Faye regardless of Megan) just like Skylar was the naggy buzzkill who didn't support her husband enough.

I've always thought Mad Men portrayed sexism well, but damn, this season. First with Peggy and Joan and the meeting of douchebags, and then Harry last night. Very rage-inducing and realistic and depressing.

I need a Lindy West review of this movie, if only because she did a fantastic job on The Notebook:

Nonononononono

Steggy 4 lyfe.
