A) Take your damn star.
A) Take your damn star.
Oh, they managed that in spades lol. It’s a damn shame though because the moment to moment action is some of the best I’ve played. Had a blast with what was there and promptly went back to bouncing around between Destiny and Diablo.
Maybe it was the fact that I really enjoyed all the Brian Jaques Redwall books when I was a kid - but the rabbits with automatic weapons looked like it had more baseline interest than another generic tactical whatever stroking a Tom Clancy boner.
I didn’t say the games were worthless, nor did I say they weren't successful. I said they needed modders to fix them, and while mods weren’t available on the releases you specify - all of them, and I’ll throw in Oblivion for good measure, released with game breaking bugs (I still have corrupted Skyrim saves on my PS3…
I’m not happy precisely, but it’s fair to say it feels nice to finally see the world at large agreeing that Bethesda can’t actually make a decent game if they don’t have a giant pile of modders to fix what they release.
If they hadn't undermined your defense with ginger npcs I'd probably sigh and agree with you.
Good thing I wasn’t arguing that it was good. Hell, I even referred to myself as a damned heretic. While we could obviously gnaw on the subjectivity of saying something was good vs objective criticism, it’s easier to shrug and recognize that occasionally schlock entertainment is fun. I love me some objectively shitty…
RE 3 and 5 are my favorites (yes, I know I’m a damned heretic), but 6 really doesn’t get enough credit for trying a whole lot of things at once. It did a fair job at telling a global story, with enough stylistic differences between the campaigns/gameplay that most RE fans could find one that was their jam. I powered…
You know, I jokingly bitch about ginger erasure a lot - but between this and Pokémon Sword/Shield not offering a decent red hair color at the stylist (even though Sonia is a perfect damn ginger)- I’m starting to lean towards a slightly more caustic ‘y’all can go to hell’ attitude.
To be sure haha😊
So no changes from the LucasArts Era is what you're saying?
Pretty sure Big D and his brothers will pop in to crash her party (especially considering Mephisto is Liliths father). Their souls were freed by Malthael when he shattered the Black Soulstone, the gameplay trailer showed a fight with Duriel and they showed off art for Andariel almost immediately. Given the stated expan…
Go right ahead, I'll join you.
I didn’t understand the gripes with the revamped SoM score he did. Not every track is zomgamazeballs, but it’s easy to change the audio on the fly if you’re not grooving. I go back and forth a lot.
This just reminds me that Burning Rangers needs a damn sequel.
At this point fans like us may as well be like the source of conflict in The Spirits Within. Angry ghosts.....
I love his Black Mages version of Dancing Mad.
I’ll absolutely second the vote for Beyond Oasis (and it's Saturn prequel Legend of Oasis).
Maybe this is an online thing, or maybe it’s where the community is now because I haven’t played since Invasion block, but not wasting your opponents time if you don’t have a hand or mana to get shit done was just good manners. Even at home, if I wasn’t gonna win I’d concede so we could shuffle and get a fresh game…
I’m enjoying the game so far, but I’ll agree that the marketing for the game set up an expectation for a much more absurd experience than we got. I’m digging the colorful Mad Max kinda vibe, but it’s a far cry from the idea of Mad Max if it was written by Hunter S Thompson and directed by James Gunn that the marketing…
