Age is just a level. My level just happens to be 57 :)

Those of us who grew up with Genesis and Super NES understand saving up 90 to 100 bucks for new games. Paying more than 60 for completed games from companies that aren’t running their labor like a sweat shop or incurring fast food/Trump Cabinet levels of employee turnover should be a doddle.

Because painfully unfunny jokes  are still better than crowbarring chili dogs into fucking everything.

Even then, silly wobbles like this happen-

What’s this black box garbage. We don't need humorless squares putting the Kotaku Fish out of work.

I still have to take exception to slagging on DinkleBot. No one turned in anything approaching a convincing piece of dialogue that first year (with the maybe exception of Cayde, but that's more Nathan Fillion just being himself and not really acting) and when Nolan North got handed the job he also got a year’s worth

Best movie on acid story I’ve ever come across (not mine, though I provided the film)- a classmate was mooching dvds to watch on the flight home during break. Ransacked my case, including my copy of Akira. Gets home to NY, and a buddy  of his tells him he NEEDS to watch Akira on acid. I can’t imagine what he saw.

..........phrasing.

You make some solid points, but your gripe about the quest for corium is borderline dishonest. I jammed through the two side quests attached to that (Dax and Matthias) and the encounters in those quests left me with exactly what was needed. The game even tells you that doing both will drastically lower the cost of the

The Constrictor or w/e it’s called. It’s basically a neutered version of the Geth shotty from ME2 (favorite gameplay loop right there- charge the gun, biotic charge the target, release the trigger, nova, and hightail it).

We see through Schreier's elaborate ruse. The goose is just a patsy.

I loved The State so damn much and I swear to God the only people I find that remember it are commenters here. My brother-in-law swears I’m making it up when I say it was on MTV during the Liquid Television late night era. I’d almost chalked it up to the Mandela Effect until I managed to find a cache of their skits on

I like how Brack is the only one with the decency to comment or make sure the Blizzard victims have some kind of help. I don’t imagine Kotick doing the same for their Activision or King victims.

The ending for Skyrim felt like a wash because after all the bullshit with Alduin got handled, there was no real resolution with the Stormcloaks, the Empire, and the Aldmeri Dominion.

They’ve always been this shitty, people only notice it now because without- A)modders to dig in and fix all the shit that BGS ships broken and B) an actual storyline and well written quests to distract from the jank, people are finally seeing the shit that Bethesda has been getting a pass on for years. They’ve never

Fahey over at Kotaku has to be supplied with one of these. For science.

Having worked for GameStop I’ve also seen the situation where they sold x amount of Preorders for systems and then had to scale back because more people than expected bought a replacement plan for the system. At that point they have to hold aside extra units in reserve to cover replacements (it isn’t exactly 1:1, but

I always feel like a strange outlier because my favorite Tales game is still Legendia.

I loved Incredibles 2 and Into the Spider-verse thwipped past it by a huge margin. Movie was pure fucking joy.

Hellgate London, Firefall, and Wildstar all come to mind.....
