Hoo boy, you complimented Ubisoft’s uConnect. You may want to change your name and go into witness protection.

You may want to re-examine that image. It specifically points out that Metro Last Light was available on more platforms (Steam, GOG, Origin) than Metro Exodus was at launch. Now that Epic’s exclusivity period has ended, Exodus can be purchased from Steam, GOG, MS Store and EGS (in addition to numerous key resellers).…
Except the majority of products are not exclusive. For example, I can buy Kellogg, Post or General Mills cereal from any supermarket. The only exclusive cereals are are the ones from the company that owns the supermarket chain. Now, imagine if Walmart made an exclusivity deal with Kellogg. That would not be good for…
You’re assuming that they were laid off because they unionized. However, they unionized a year earlier and they weren’t the only developers laid off during this wave of layoffs. Many developers were laid off this year after companies over-expanded during the pandemic and failed to maintain their growth trajectory.
Yeah, I noticed it since it was first reported, which didnt really mention if they were working as direct contractors to Bioware or just part of another company that had a contract with Bioware (and now we know its the latter)
So... how exactly does exclusivity benefit consumers? Nobody’s complaining about having more choices. They’re complaining about having fewer choices as a result of arbitrary exclusivity deals. For example, being able to buy and play Dead Island 2 on Steam, GOG, the MS Store and EGS would have been great. Customers…
Maybe I’m missing something here, but this feels like it shouldn’t be allowed. If those people were actual BioWare employees, sure, but they’re not. They were employed by an outside company that contracted with BioWare.
Didn’t even consider the fact that iPhone vs Android would be a topic for a bully to latch on to since I’m too damn old. Think I got my first cellphone at 16 and it was this thing:
Was always better than the ipod.
> you can never really tell if someone is actually a total dick, or just behaving like a dick to get attention and ad revenue
If you read the entire article about how he waves wads of cash and diamond encrusted watches at people, then he’s a pretty big scumbag. But you sound just as ignorant as he is.
I mean, regardless of your thoughts on either side of the conflict, restreaming war footage at all is a bad look, and reacting to it for entertainment value pushes that low even lower. It’s not the reactions themselves, just the... like... total lack of respect for the death and destruction on display.
He’s “reacting” to it like it’s some random tiktok video BS - as opposed to watching a mass genocide taking place. He is de-humanzing an atrocity against civilians, turning it into “entertainment” and being flippant about it.
He’s streaming his reaction to war footage which in turn, he gets paid for.
Every time I hear about a Twitch streamer it’s because they’re a piece of shit. Stop giving them free publicity by writing about them.
I agree.
Definitely Origins. I tried to like IV and played it now and then, but it never clicked. Even though I like pirate tales well enough. Whether it was the protagonist or I don’t know what. I just remember sailing and thinking “God another stupid fort”? I might give IV another spin. We'll see.
Yeah, almost all of the “Assassin’s Creed” parts of the game were bad. I actually think it’s one of the weakest games in the series — people only remember the ship combat (which was spectacular) and forget how much all of the other stuff (which was a huge part of the game) kind of sucked.
Can’t tell if you’ve been living under a rock or are ignorant and trying to act smug.
