I can agree that the SVO, specifically, may not have had the GT in it’s sights, but the turbo 4 that powered it, certainly did. The SVO was not the first iteration of the Mustang to get the 2.3 turbo, that came 5 or so years earlier. But with the CAFE regs and the oil crisis’, many didn’t think the V8 would survive at…

Arlington Park was having a very similar issue a few years ago. Most people that hung around the track, knew it was the lower quality horses that were being run too hard and too often, because the track itself was doing fairly poorly because of, in part, Illinois’ gambling laws and track’s inability to get slots/table…

If it was a true competitor to the V8, like the original SVO was, then I’d say call it the SVO. But in reality, it’s just a tarted up base Mustang with a couple fancy bits from the standard GT.

Trump shuffling money from the defense budget to the border wall also doesn’t help. A planned service facility was deferred to make way for the border wall emergency funds.

I feel like getting beer poured on him was almost the best case scenario for jumping into the dawg pound, considering some of the stories I’ve heard of the dawg pound in the past.
