There’s no “getting used to” the official app. It’s utter junk. You can’t find what you want because your feed is stuffed with spam, ads and suggestions filling 8 out of every 10 items.

I feel for the authors of excellent apps like Apollo. They’re realistically the only way to use Reddit right now. Reddit’s website and their official app are both utter junk and full of so much spam, forced ads and popups that you can’t actually find the content most of the time. u/Spez cut off all the app developers…

Yeah, the five second ads at the beginning are not why I went out of my way to block ads on Youtube, it was the 30 second ads every two minutes on some videos. I’ve gone without ad blockers occasionally when I get a new device, and always end up installing one eventually, not because I mind a few banner ads here and…

Last week had M’Benga with Ortegas, this week with La’an. I’m happy they get to have him play off all the characters, Babs Olusanmokun has great timing with everyone he’s on-screen with.

One thing I love about this show is that when a character only has very tiny scenes in an episode, they consistently manage to mine it for all its worth.

Between this and his outburst with Vice Admiral Pasalk last week, Spock’s suddenly a loose cannon!

This episode was so much better than it had any right to be. When I saw that it was a time travel episode and an episode that featured Kirk it felt like they were reaching for stunt plots that are normally reserved for the end of a show’s run when they need to goose ratings and don’t have anything left in the bag.
