I don’t think that Steam is gonna shut down anytime soon. I just mean that forever only means however long the store/service exists. I only said Steam as an example. It’s true for all digital stores.

I wouldn’t consider a Tesla even if they got rid of Musk. Even without Musk, Tesla’s are overpriced & badly made.

Cashiers were underpaid long before self-checkout existed.

It’s so interesting seeing people characterize the cashier as such a terrible experience.

The stealing thing is bullshit, just like the ‘epidemic’ of retail theft that was all over the news last year. Just completely made up.

They have a dedicated person manning the self checkouts to help with ID checks and fix any checkout issues....

I went to a grocery store in Italy that was like that. Scan as you shop, pick something up, scan it, put it in your cart. When you get to checkout, you give the scanner to the cashier & you pay. No wasting time unloading & reloading the cart.

The “robot” was being remotely controlled. There is no potential in this. It’s just more bullshit from conman Musk.

I wouldn’t go that far. There’s still the issues with build quality and the high cost to repair.

I agree with everything you said except for the scan quotas & that cashiers should be paid by skill. Just because one cashier has an easier time memorizing produce codes don’t mean they should make more money.

Musk is really the only thing keeping the evaluation up.

Self-checkout is a failed experiment

If Musk wants more shares then he can fucking buy more shares. This isn’t complicated. I doubt anyone would be dumb enough to sell him more shares, though. Giving Musk more control of Tesla is just stupid.

There’s video of Musk smoking weed and it’s well known that he takes ketamine. So any claims of clean drug tests are complete bullshit.

I know PLENTY of people who were considering an EV that will not do so for the immediate future because of Musk.
