1) The 15% loss is an extremely antiquated assumption. Modern drive trains are much more efficient.
Have to disagree. I own a W216/M156 (CL 63) and the engineering and materials quality are exceptional. Its a 10-year old car with no squeaks or rattles and everything still works fine. And boy, is it still a looker.
Rim-shot!
GM fails to reinvent the wheel, but they took a crack at it.
And who pays $7500 for a set of OEM Corvette wheels???

the solution to keep payments down is simple...get a cheaper car.

Don’t be poor. Drive your G-wagon in the winter. Not your McLaren. Problem solved.
Don’t be poor. Pay someone to wash your windows. Problem solved.
Can you imagine the technical problems with that thing when it gets a little older! it will make an early 2000's AMG seem like a cheap toy!
It never fails to amaze me how it’s only when the new, — vastly improved! — model comes out that we finally hear about the shortcomings of its predecessor.
