I’m all gray so I can’t reply (unless you free me from graydom) but speaking as a grandmother: This Is Brilliant.

Yeah out here far southeast where my daughter lives is actually pretty diverse. Also, I’ve always hated that show and feel sorry for all the kids who move to Portland because it’s so hip only to find that only the wealthy can afford to live in the hip neighborhoods nowadays.

Now imagine someone that good negotiating with other nations on our behalf.

Totally agree with everyone—as long as it’s your choice, it’s your body, there’s nothing to be ashamed of. If it didn’t feel right, sometimes it’s because it’s just not right for you, or sometimes it’s the wrong guy or the wrong situation. I’m an old lady now and single and involuntarily celibate, but thank goddess I

I don’t know your whole story, but I knew someone whose kid was a friend of my kid when they were in grade school and middle school. He started stealing the car when he was 14, by the time he was 15 he came and went as he pleased and was mostly living in an apartment with other kids and young adults. His parents never

I know nothing about legal stuff but I think you’re wonderful and I’m grateful you’re in my world and doing what you’re doing, no matter how it goes. Everything you do has ripples, everything touches everything eventually, you’re shaping the world. Keep being you and making the difference you make.

Way to go! For me getting out the door is always the hardest part.

I worked my four tens, did laundry, made stuffed bell peppers, then on my days off I drove into the city and stayed with my daughter and took the two-month-old baby during her fussy crying time so my girl and hubby could get a little extra sleep. Then the next day I babysat while she got her IUD and they went out to

The only reason I know who Zoe Saldana is today is because of this whole business, which caught my attention because it was associated with the name of Nina Simone. And I’m an old white lady and not even particularly knowledgeable about music. But Simone is more than just a music icon, she’s historic.

Pretty curious.

I totally, totally want smart curtains and I’m very sad that the girl who invented them is probably now discouraged for life from inventing things.

This is discussed in above comments. Apparently yes, the public knew the age and gender of the participants.

Thank you so much for saying this! I’m 60 and I don’t dye my hair or try to look young, because WHY???!!! I haven’t died yet and that’s a bad thing? Best way to fight fear of aging is to fight the message that a woman is only valuable when she’s young.

And who wouldn’t, after living in it for 110 years?

Just turned 60 and sadly this is too true. (Although my men friends seem to be granted another 10-15 years of adulthood if they’re not actually drooling on themselves.)

I’ve already told my kids, after my 80th birthday just keep the pot cookies coming.

Thank you for doing that, though.
