Actually, it’s not all that easy to kill yourself. I don’t know if anyone’s been able to put the data together (since collecting data about gun violence is not encouraged in this country) but I think it’s very likely that access to guns increases the rate of successful suicide, probably pretty dramatically.

It’s not really about old and young. It’s about what you’re used to, what you’ve actually experienced. I lived in a majority/minority state for 23 years before moving to the rural Pacific Northwest and I am way more comfortable with immigration and diversity than the majority of young people around here.
