I actually bothered to Google it and apparently The Talk gets 2.52 million viewers on average. So I'm guessing that's what's considered a successful daytime tv audience. I suppose it's more than your average hockey or baseball game.

If it's anything like this show on Rogers public access television in the Greater Toronto Area, then it'll be bad.

Using a very successful weekday afternoon show as an example of how the weekday afternoon timeslot is bad is not good writing.
