Dallas is a very progressive city, and has one of the lowest murder rates in the country for a big city. Apparently the police also were progressive and had a good relationship with the community.

This is horrifying. Rest in peace to all of these officers, thoughts and prayers to their families and loved ones.

I hope they got the license number and can track down these murderers and expose the plot. This was organized for a purpose. The protestors sure didn’t arrive in a Mercedes and proceed to lay down fire like a trained sniper team. This was something from the outside of the demonstration.

Let’s not forget to mention that the Police labeled the brother of the protest organizer as a suspect and had an image of him from the march up on twitter within an hour of the shooting. Because in an open carry state he was a black man with a rifle.

The person of interest who turned himself in is shown in video being walking calmly and giving his arm to the police.

I have to admit that my first thought was that the shooter(s) belong(s) to some sort of Black Bloc type group, the kind that throw bricks at cops during these types of protests and almost invariably are white kids from comfortable backgrounds.

One protester was shot and is expected to survive, and it has been mentioned in every news article I have read and was also referenced in the press conference. Nice try.

The details coming out about this are surreal. 3-4 suspects, Camo duffel bags in a Mercedes, ongoing shootouts...
