Good point, bad choice of words there; Definitive live action Batman. The Animated Series still wins everything else right now. Though I'd be more than happy for something to come along and surpass it, wouldn't you?

It would be incredible if this did end up running for 20 seasons just morphing into a real Batman show around season 10. The emotional connections that could be built with the characters would be immense and could give us the definitive Batman on screen.

It will certainly be interesting to watch them try not to appear like they're just spinning their wheels for a decade till Bruce Wayne is old enough to be Batman.
