TLDR for this and every other comment section related to Cameron Esposito:

Also, you're replying in a thread which I started by discussing this exact subject. I would have been more than willing to go further into the subject if you weren't being such a dick about it, but you are so I won't. It's just that simple.

I prefer not to leave insults unchecked. Got any more?

Oh okay, you seem really reasonable now. Good luck with that.

My mistake, I probably should have also mentioned that I don't discuss TV show plots with uncivil chumps. Bye!

Describing a scene and calling it 'goofy' and 'silly' isn't the same thing as explaining your stance. You're entitled to your reaction, but I don't think I can discuss this any further with nothing of substance to go on.

Do you come to this show expecting hard realism or something? It's a high-concept fantasy show, they can play with the reality of their world however they want. There's a fight between tree people and zombies, did you laugh at that too?

I also tend to focus more on script and characterization, as the visceral experience of watching this show is one of its greatest strengths and could only be hurt by picking it apart shot by shot. I do wish they would provide a clearer explanation of the mechanics of warging, though.

Wow, this is the first negative take I've seen on the Hodor scene anywhere. On one level I see what Gus is saying about the emotional disconnect between real and warging Bran, but isn't that due to the disconnect of warging in general? I didn't feel insulted at all by it, it actually heightened the tension for me by

I remember the first time I saw a Twin Peaks in Knoxville, I was initially really excited because even the sign logo suggested the show. Then I looked it up and found out the name was just a tit pun, and the restaurant was just a Hooters knockoff. I bet they don't even have damn fine coffee.

I understand a lot of the criticism for this episode, it definitely doesn't measure up to the serialized brilliance of the last few weeks. But Silicon Valley is, for all its tweaking of the form, still a sitcom at its core, and I'm more than willing to forgive it for taking an episode to catch its breath and briefly

This may have been asked ad nauseum elsewhere, but couldn't Jorah cut off his arm to stop the spread of his greyscale? I'm sure Mereen doesn't have the best medical care standards, so it could end up killing him anyway, but I'd take that any day over the slow and agonizing death he's in for otherwise. He's not even

Guilty by association, I guess.

I had to post about this somewhere, it's driving me up a wall. I'm sure they need the revenue, but I imagine this site gets A LOT of mobile traffic, so I can't be the only one.

I have nothing to say about this video (just Kanye being Kanye), but these new mobile ads that pause my music every time I open an AVC article are the fucking worst.

That felt like pure Mike Judge genius to me. An annoying noise in the background that just kept going and going until it became a hilarious undercurrent to the whole scene.

Very possible, I'm just speculating. As others have mentioned, I don't think Cersei would really give a damn as long as the High Sparrow goes down too.

What is dead may never renegotiate.

I'm surprised to learn that it was actually her. Those naked shots looked very much like a Dany head pasted on a CGI body.

I'll allow it. But watch yourself, counsellor.
