What's wrong with using Knuckles and Tails? They were pretty cool in the old game. Hell, they barely played any different from Sonic back then. What's wrong with using Shadow as a Sonic clone?

Very Ninja Theory. Not liking their choice of colors :( Hopefully this guy is another Dante too, though I'm glad you don't control the "cool" Dante. Don't see what the big deal is about controlling him.

I can see why they added this. All those people that get their paypal or credit card rejected or account on hold miss out on those holiday daily sales. If they put the money in the wallet beforehand, then they don't have to worry about this issue.
