My favorite part was how brilliant Foggy was at talking people down from violence. That’s a real superpower. The casting was also top-notch. Bernthal almost made me empathize with Frank Castle despite really, really not wanting to, and Yung was gorgeous and scintillating as Elektra.

You might be in the minority on this opinion, I thought the monologue in ep 4 in the graveyard was what elevated Bernthal’s performance of the Punisher above a mere ‘vengeance driven psycho killer’ and laid the groundwork for making him the best live action Punisher ever. All those quiet, insightful, human moments…

I’m subversive like that.
