Yes.
Yes.
They're all about as exciting as waiting in line at the DMV.
Those of us with NA6 Miatas know this feeling all too well. The bad part is that the minivan wasn't intentionally trying to cock-block my ploy to get into a turn lane.
Not really. More people globally knew about this car at the time than #1 in its time.
It's never about the parts cost for a mechanic as most shops mark all of their prices up a certain percentage over jobber anyway. It's about how the cars/parts are engineered in the first place. For the shadetree, when something fails twice as quickly as it should, it had better be cheap and easy to replace. This…
I'm tired of defenders of these buckets. Eventually, everything wears out or fails but the rate and expense is what is in question. As a former mechanic, I'm glad there are people who buy these abominations as it allowed me to regularly put food on my table.

I agree with you. Our mass-transit system isn't exactly what I'd call acceptable, even in large cities. The last town I lived in had all of 8,000 people, it was a 10 mile drive to the nearest grocery store. There were no trains, buses or anything of the sort to get around, so now what? Personally, I'm not going to…
You won't find a better car in the segment. End of story.
