My biggest annoyance (maybe not biggest, but it's up there on the list) is the episode formatting. What makes these episodes boring to death is the insistance of concentrating in one area for the whole hour. Why can't they edit and cut across the spam of all the story lines, add some layers and interest: visit carol,

It's my lecture course, stylistic studies for moving image. I don't think I could use TWD either lol. I plan to write it on Game of Thrones or The Wire.

This is actually something we discussed in class yesterday. My professor proposed the idea that had they killed Glenn after the long, drawn out, suspenseful speech of Negan's, it would have been more rewarding to the audience (see: Game of Thrones and literally all their major character deaths.) The build up was

I actually know you're not obligated to read it, yet here you are with a rebuttal. What was that about self awareness?

See above explanation you were JUST given. Your remarkable stupidity and lack of self awareness is at least entertaining, so keep it up I guess.

And this is cute coming from someone who has trolled this thread, calling out everyone who has given this show a less than stellar analysis; some may call it a tantrum. You seem awfully offended by people's reactions, stating if they dont like the show to stop watching, while also giving the same attention to

I'm confused as to why anyone would think Margo is the first example of success from Fiona when she's had a few over the series with a few different characters: Jasmine offering her a steady job with benefits, which Fiona takes in place of chasing down jimmy/steve, which we then see her give up as a result of poor

Why are we not covering this show regularly?…I assume because the number of hits, comments, and ratings on this post is on the lower end? Never the less, it's a good show with a GREAT cast, namely Sterling and Milo. Some predictablies, but overall the avenues this show can go down are vast and I hope the writers take

It's a cocktail of masochism, misunderstood obligation after 6 seasons of tuning in, and a hint of hope that something will break the repetitive cycle. Watching and despising sometimes go hand and hand with people, I've done it more times than I can count with shows I once loved and grew to hate. It's the train wreck

Yep. This show is an empire, it'll be successful till the bitter end.

Not sure why it was necessary to call out an entire generation but ok. I'm wondering your thoughts on the storyline and plot advancements made in this episode. How did Abraham's death effect the plotline and direction of the show? Aside Sasha—who we've already seen grieve a boyfriend (repeated material,

I agree about Glenn and Abraham's characters as of late, they trotted along the past couple seasons without any stand out moments— for me anyway. And you're right about Denise as well, they just wanted to kill her character and it seems without a second thought as to why they were killing her, which is a real shame.

Preach.

Here's what I don't get—forgive me if this has been pointed out—what was the point of killing Denise? Her death took the place of Abraham's in the comic…just so they could kill him 2 episodes later. It doesn't make any sense, especially since Denise's character was just beginning to flesh out and show she could be
