Per TSA it was about a 2/3 drop compared to last year which I’d say is pretty good for people giving up an activity that is not illegal and generally means giving up seeing their own families over the biggest holiday of the year. I think the ultimate downside of this is that there’s going to be a LOT less drivers. If they’re W2 employees, that means that all sorts of payroll taxes/etc need to be paid, they’ll absolutely have people working for more than 32 hours a week and need to offer them benefits, it’ll be harder to hire and harder to fire…
