I mean, as long as we’re going there...

I love the picture of this beautiful red in tulips; are you linking this to the tulip mania of the 17th century? That would have been the one to get in on.

Thanks for this. I’ll be doing my garage floor here soon with the Rustoleum kit. As for the pegboard, I went a little more budget friendly and got this.

Not surprised to note that most everyone who disagrees with me seems to cite the idea that later trucks are too big, too macho, too much compensation, which is unfortunately a common viewpoint in these parts.

Also why TF would you drop your money into a catering business at a time when nobody is allowed to have any group events? This seems like the absolute worst time to start a catering business.

My brother texted me asking questions about new car sales just before Thanksgiving last year. I assumed it would be something for his fiancee (now wife) because she was driving a very old CR-V that has had issues. He was then driving a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit which my parents bought for him (new) and also

Well, he was “laid off” that doesn’t necessarily mean “has no job.”

A half ton, up to a 42 inch deck or so, yes.  Any of the compact trucks our non-mower owning Jalopnik writers suggested? No.

“Hello, officer, I’m calling because I just bought a car from a local auction and I found seventee..... ummm fiftee...ummm three bricks of cocaine in a hidden compartment inside the car.

Not to mention that it’s probably quite hard for an amateur to sell 75 lbs of coke without ending up dead or in jail.

Do you want guillotines? Because this is how you get guillotines.

I have never carried 50 iPhones at once. How is this measure of weights helpful?

One of my coworkers once had to acquire some tungsten for a work project, that’s when he learned that NASCAR teams sell last year’s block on eBay. He also learned that the USPS means it when they say “if it fits, it ships”, although the postman was not amused when he delivered it.

The staff probably IS sitting around unemployed. Here in SW FL one of the big hospital groups just laid off something like *5000* healthcare workers, because due to not doing their usual level of elective procedures (and so far doing bupkis with Covid-19, relatively speaking), they are going rapidly broke.

First of all, this has been happening. I’m not sure if its happened or happening in Alabama (my guess is they probably worked on something for the last two months...), but if you’re basing your reaction on 1st Gear or the Giz article alone you’re probably doing yourself a disservice (double for the reply commenters).

If it has a handle and hits things, Harbor Freight. If it stores things, Harbor Freight. If you plan on using it once a year and it is cheaper at Harbor Freight than at the rental place, Harbor Freight. If it has hydraulics, wheels, pistons, pulleys, any sort of mission critical circuitry, led readouts, any sort of

1st Gear: 80% drop in profit still means they are making a profit. I would see this as a pretty good silver lining given the situation. Plenty of others are talking losses.
