Dolores Claiborne is super underrated, just for how it takes an utterly unfilmable story and completely changes the focus so that the material can work as a movie, even adding a new major character that gives Christopher Plummer one of his best parts ever.
A couple of these are genuinely awful, so I have to wonder why you'd pick them over the genuinely good 'Dead Zone' movie.
But enough about your mom.
The REAL Hot One was that spicy take by the author! (also rolling eyes at that paragraph at the speed of a Rankin-Bass character)
I’m not sure he was small time - he was on the Tonight Show, he traveled quite a bit to do shows around the country, back and forth to Atlantic City. He was well enough known that NBC sent people to see him and sign him to do the pilot. It’s not like he was kicking around the NYC scene only.
The real-life building that Larry David lived in across from Kramer was government subsidized for artists. So, in a sense, this was public housing. It’s a two room apartment and we can assume the fourth wall was where your TV screen is so not really that big. Also, as someone else mentioned, it was the early 90s and…
...so Jack Klompus was right, then! As a small time comedian, there’s no way Jerry could afford that Cadillac for his father - have you seen his act!?
Except Seinfeld was never presented as “small time” and it was also the 1990s. If you have issues with his relatively modest TV apartment, what do you say about Friends?
I've watched a lot of Tik Toks showcasing NYC apartments and I don't think there's any such thing as "impossible dimensions"
Yea, “probably”. Do you need me to get you a dictionary? Or you just like to stir shit up?
“Hey you kids, stop running across my damn blades!”
finishing second to manchester city after a remarkable season was a bit too soon for me as an arsenal fan
It was the perfect end for this show.
I know you guys are absolutely desperate for clicks, and you lowballed someone on Fiver to get the coding done, but is it really necessary to have a “continue reading” button for one sentence and access to the comments?
I’m hoping this is the dumbest thing I read this week, but sadly am not optimistic.
You can just not like it without insinuating that it’s only stupid sheep who do.
I’ll admit, I watched the trailer above and thought there’s probably an inside joke(s) I’m missing from not having seen the first couple seasons.
