Weird the article doesn’t mention that the officer that shot him is black. Usually every article about someone being unfairly shot makes a point of saying what race the shooter is, not sure why it isn’t mentioned here. Must have slipped Noah’s mind.

Transformers have underperformed for a while, but I think saturation of terrible had a definite impact on that. I think the gap in time between the last movie and this will help numbers and they probably do a bit higher than current estimates and get maybe 85-105m opening weekend.

That’s my biggest takeaway. This site is acting like it’s the greatest film ever meanwhile it seems to be... just fine. That’s not to say it’s a bad movie, but an overly long mediocre live action remake of a Disney cartoon does not equal film of the year just because they had decent holiday weekend box office numbers.
